Alcaidesa Marina is situated in the natural bay of Gibraltar on Spain’s southern tip and is the recipient of two highly sought-after awards which recognise it as one of Europe’s finest yachts hubs. Offering excellent shelter and deep water access in all weather conditions the marina, as well as being one of the best equipped and maintained, is also one of the safest to berth ones yacht.
The marina, which was opened only at the beginning of the year, has been awarded both The Yacht Harbour Association’s (THYA) prestigious 5 Gold Anchors and the Blue Flag award – making Alcaidesa Marina the first Spanish marina to receive both accolades.
The marina itself can accommodate up to 624 yachts from 8m upto 80m LOA and covers 135,000 square meters plus a further 140,000 square metres of sheltered water area. Boasting a comprehensive repair and maintenance service the marina has specialist workshops and a 75 tonne hoist.
The very lively town of La Linea de la Concepción is only a short stroll away and offers a vibrant atmosphere in its many bars and restaurants. The marina complex itself will also boast retail, leisure and restaurants which will cement it as one of the best serviced and leading marinas in Europe.
